Thesis/Side Project - React Native or PHP/SQL (German-only, remote with regular meetings)

Overview

We are a small, working founder team in stealth mode (Sport-Tech). Currently pre-revenue, this is a leisure project alongside our jobs. We are looking for 2 students (React Native or PHP/SQL) for a thesis-suitable side project – remote-first, with personal meetings in Germany. NDA before product details.

• No current compensation, but potential for future salary and bonuses.

Requirements

• Ongoing studies in Computer Science/Media Informatics or similar.
• Very good skills in React Native (TS/JS) or PHP 8 + SQL.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and VS Code; reliable, well-commented code.
• Residence in Germany and willingness for on-site meetings.
• Plus points: Expo, TypeScript, State Management; Slim/Laravel; Query Tuning; JWT/Auth; basic understanding of GDPR.
