Senior Jira Application Administrator - Remote

Overview

The Senior Jira Application Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and support of Jira, including external application integrations and providing technical support to State personnel.

In Short

• Part time support with an estimated average of fifteen (15) hours per week.
• Respond to State communication within specified time frames.
• Provide maintenance, support, troubleshooting, and updates for Jira.
• Oversee the administration and configuration of Jira and external integrations.
• Identify and resolve software problems in consultation with users.
• Provide training and documentation to State personnel.
• Assist with upgrades of the Jira environment.
• Mandatory expertise in multi-node data center upgrades and Jira configurations.
• Desirable experience includes Jira Administrator certification and external application integrations.

Requirements

• Experience performing upgrade of multi-node data center instance (9.x version minimum).
• Experience updating Jira application configuration files.
• Experience creating and updating Bash and Groovy scripts.
• Experience using RHEL command line.
• Experience with TSQL and SQL Server database objects.
• Experience performing Jira project configuration.
• Experience constructing JQL including advanced functions.
• Desirable: Jira Administrator certification.
• Desirable: AD/LDAP connection and configuration knowledge.
• Desirable: Basic understanding of load balancing and networking.
