Portfolio Finance Executive - Remote

Overview

The Portfolio Finance Executive serves as the central hub for data collection, processing, and analysis, providing the critical insights that drive our Investment Team. In this role, you are much more than a data processor; you are the guardian of data integrity. You will ensure that our collection engine runs with 100% accuracy, proactively liaising with portfolio companies to resolve discrepancies and enabling firm leadership to make strategic decisions based on high-fidelity, real-time insights.

• Lead the administration of the reporting platform and manage the information request lifecycle.
• Engage with portfolio finance teams to resolve reporting delays.
• Optimize data systems and manage vendor communications.
• Conduct variance analysis on financial data for accuracy.
• Transform raw data into the firm’s Master File for updates.
• Support quarterly valuations and performance reviews.
• Draft narratives for investor materials based on quantitative data.
• Manage audit documentation and communication with auditors.
• Provide data support to the Investor Relations team as needed.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in financial data management.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role (Big 4 Audit, Fund Operations, etc.).
• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Proven attention to detail in financial processes.
• Ability to perform variance analysis on financial statements.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with finance heads and managers.
