AVP, Senior Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and continual improvement of the security solutions identified in the organization's security program to ensure that all information assets and associated technology, applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes are adequately protected in the digital ecosystem in which the organization operates.

In Short

• Support and maintain security operations and products.
• Collaborate with other Security Administrators/Engineers and operational teams.
• Operate and maintain Microsoft Active Directory On-Prem and in the Cloud.
• Administer SIEM and optimization with Splunk and Microsoft Defender.
• Manage and facilitate Incident Response investigations.
• Engage in vulnerability management processes.
• Proactively hunt threats and perform security analysis.
• Facilitate script automation.
• Operate and maintain Azure AD hybrid-environments.
• Provide timely and effective responses to servicing needs.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in a regulated environment.
• Security+ Certification required.
• Competency in cyber security design, administration, and operations.
• Experience with various security technologies and practices.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Dedicated and passionate about cyber security technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
