Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 8A Aseptic Technician to support our Oncology Pharmacy service. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical knowledge to a wide variety of healthcare professionals.

• Location: Worthing
• Start Date: 30th of September 2024
• Duration: Full-time, Until the 22nd of December 2024
• Rate: £34 - £39 per hour
• Working hours: 08:30PM - 17:00PM
• Support Oncology Pharmacy service
• Utilize Aria electronic prescribing system
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent
• Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
• Previous experience in a hospital or community pharmacy setting
• Significant experience in aseptic preparation and handling of cytotoxic products
• Proficiency in the use of the Aria electronic prescribing system
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
