Overview

The Group Meeting Facilitator will support the Hanford Advisory Board by coordinating meetings, agendas, and communications among diverse stakeholders to ensure effective facilitation and compliance with federal guidelines.

In Short

  • Coordinate HAB meeting schedules and agendas.
  • Facilitate communication with agency representatives.
  • Develop and distribute the HAB Annual Report.
  • Conduct the HAB/Public Involvement Survey.
  • Maintain a HAB library per FACA guidelines.
  • Monitor administrative procedures for the Board.
  • Work remotely during COVID-19 with occasional travel.
  • Engage with diverse stakeholders to reach consensus.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental laws and agreements.
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and events.

Requirements

  • Four years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience facilitating diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of environmental law and related treaties.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Experience with contentious issues preferred.
  • Certified Professional Facilitator preferred.
