Overview

ProSidian seeks a Certified Data Analyst (CDA) to provide services and support in the Agriculture And Food Industry Sector focusing on IT Effectiveness Solutions for clients such as the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

In Short

• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and analysis of financial/agricultural data using Excel.
• Conduct advanced data analysis for USDA AMS reporting.
• Provide IT Effectiveness Solutions for USDA - AMS Excel Spreadsheet Modernization Services.
• Collaborate with USDA’s Cotton & Tobacco divisions to understand specific spreadsheet needs.
• Utilize advanced Excel features such as PivotTables, macros, and complex formulas.
• Prepare and modernize budget templates and financial management reports.
• Deliver training sessions for end-users on modernized Excel sheets.
• Manage large datasets and ensure proper data structure for analysis.
• Maintain version control and troubleshoot errors in complex spreadsheets.
• Work under a contract basis with potential for full-time employment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, IT, Financial Analysis, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or related fields.
• Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) | Expert in Excel certification.
• Certified Data Analyst (CDA) certification.
• Experience with VBA for Excel automation.
• Strong background in financial analysis and agricultural economics.
• Ability to create user manuals and documentation for updated spreadsheets.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
