Overview

ProperExpression has an immediate opening for a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Manager. Our ideal candidate is a Search Engine sage with 3+ years of dedicated SEO experience. ProperExpression is a boutique growth marketing agency servicing SMBs in the B2B and B2C space. We support our clients through a suite of services including inbound marketing, SEO, content production, marketing automation and digital advertising. Our culture is fast-paced, team-oriented and, dare we say, fun. Clients love us for our thoughtful work that pushes boundaries as well as sales. We’re headquartered outside of Washington, DC but this position is available remotely, world-wide, though is expected to adhere to USA East Coast time. We are big on training and development, as well as work-life balance and work hour flexibility. • 3+ Years of Dedicated SEO-focused Experience.
• Demonstrated ability to drive results through SEO: organic traffic, organic traffic lead gen, organic traffic-generated revenue.
• Well-versed with SEO software such as SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, SiteBulb, Screaming Frog, HubSpot, etc.
• Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of SEO: technical, content strategy, backlinking, etc.
• Experience with Google’s marketing suite of products including Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads, Google My Business, Tag Manager, etc.
• Experience with data reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
• Experience with PPC and paid search is preferred but not required.
• Participate in the formulation of marketing strategy at the inception of a client engagement.
• On page optimization and technical optimization.
