AI Red Team Engineer - Remote

Backed by Andreessen Horowitz, we help teams at Shopify, Amazon, Anthropic and many more discover and eliminate AI-specific risks before they reach prod. Now we're expanding our customer-facing security team with our first dedicated AI Red Team Engineer.

In Short

• Work with customers during proofs-of-concept and ongoing professional-services engagements.
• Build reusable attack playbooks and educational materials.
• Integrate customer infrastructure with Promptfoo's evaluation runners.
• Advise product & OSS teams on emerging exploits.
• Educate through workshops, documentation, and conference talks.

Requirements

• 4+ years in offensive security or penetration testing.
• Proficiency in Python or TypeScript.
• Understanding of HTTP and networking.
• Ability to explain complex vulnerabilities to technical and non-technical audiences.
• US work authorization and willingness to travel ~10%.
