Developmental Therapist/Early Interventionist - Remote

Overview

Progressive Directions Inc. (PDI) is seeking full time Home and Community Based early childhood special educators to serve the Montgomery and Stewart County area.

In Short

• Work with children experiencing developmental delays or at risk for delays.
• Administer and interpret developmental assessments.
• Develop Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Train parents in effective parenting and intervention skills.
• Maintain ethical and professional standards.
• Document therapy sessions and progress.
• Assist families in using community resources.
• Facilitate transitions for children to future placements.
• Flexible scheduling with the option to work remotely after training.

Requirements

• Baccalaureate or higher degree in relevant fields such as early childhood special education.
• Experience working with children with disabilities aged 0-5.
