Insurance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Insurance Specialist is responsible for maintaining insurance records and ensuring timely premium disbursements for escrowed loans, while also monitoring vendor performance and resolving customer-related issues.

• Manage insurance records and premium disbursements for escrowed loans.
• Monitor vendor performance for timely premium payments.
• Respond to team email inquiries promptly.
• Review and process daily import files with insurance information.
• Analyze monthly insurance bills and process payments.
• Create and maintain procedure documentation as needed.
• Conduct research on insurance lines during monthly analysis.
• Reconcile flood files and manage deposits for Loss Draft funds.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1-3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Basic understanding of Loss Mitigation, REO, Bankruptcy, and Foreclosure.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
