Senior Medical Editor (Freelance) - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Medical Editor to join our team. You will take a leadership role in ensuring the highest level of copywriting quality and regulatory compliance.

In Short

• Edit copy and ensure regulatory compliance for marketing/promotional materials.
• Fact check and proof existing copy for new channels and audiences.
• Provide medical, regulatory, and legal expertise for consistency and accuracy.
• Copy edit promotional materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Validate references to ensure they meet criteria.
• Prepare jobs for MLR submission using Veeva.
• Collaborate with project manager, account manager, and designers.
• Manage own brand alignment and assist other editors.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, or life sciences.
• 5+ years of experience editing pharmaceutical promotional materials.
• Medical/pharma writing experience in portfolio.
• Experience anchoring/linking in Veeva.
• Experience across a range of therapeutic areas is a plus.
