Accounts Payable Supervisor - Remote

Overview

The Accounts Payable Supervisor plays a critical role in managing high-volume invoice processing and optimizing financial operations within the organization. This remote position requires candidates to reside in Central Florida.

In Short

• Oversee and manage Accounts Payable functions.
• Process biweekly payments and manage vendor accounts.
• Support the implementation of ExFlow OCR within Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain communication with vendors for timely payments.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Participate in process documentation and improvement initiatives.
• Provide reporting on AP process health to CFO.
• Backup for Team Leader and assist in their absence.
• Support annual audit activities.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 5-10 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• Experience in a senior or supervisory AP role preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong analytical and reasoning skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong initiative and resourcefulness.
• Able to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Experience with OCR based invoice processing systems preferred.
