Overview

This position is responsible for leading biostatistics efforts for specific projects and studies, managing resources, and providing technical expertise within the Biostatistics and Statistical Programming department.

In Short

  • Lead biostatistics efforts for projects and studies.
  • Review statistical sections of protocols and write analysis plans.
  • Manage resources within the department.
  • Hire, train, and develop Biostatisticians and Statistical Programmers.
  • Perform sample size calculations and provide randomization schedules.
  • Program and QC datasets, tables, and figures using SAS.
  • Provide oversight for assigned projects and perform senior level review.
  • Participate in business development activities.
  • Assist with project forecasting and resourcing needs.
  • Provide statistical consultative support.

Requirements

  • MS degree in statistics, biostatistics, or mathematics with 6+ years industry experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of industry standards like ICH guidelines and CDISC data structures.
  • Experience with SAS and complex statistical methods.
  • Familiarity with oncology and rare diseases is preferred.
  • Experience with submissions is a plus.
