ClickHouse Engineer - Remote

Overview

The ClickHouse Engineer will help manage and operate the ClickHouse cluster and query layer, enhancing the architecture and performance of data storage solutions.

• Full-remote position, hiring in GMT-8 to GMT+2 timezones.
• Develop tooling for backup and restore processes for ClickHouse clusters.
• Create schema and mutation management tools for teams.
• Enhance visibility into cluster statuses.
• Automate dynamic provisioning of instances using Terraform and Ansible.
• Build query benchmarking and performance tooling.
• Optimize schema, queries, and cluster configurations.
• Proficiency in Python, Kubernetes, and AWS required.
• Strong interest in ClickHouse internals and query optimization.

• Experience with high-scale complex data storage solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a self-directed environment.
