Overview

The Perinatal Mental Health Specialist will provide direct patient care and navigation, focusing on evidence-based care for perinatal mental health issues, aiming to improve access and reduce disparities.

• Provide one-on-one virtual care visits for patients.
• Conduct behavioral health screenings and interventions.

Requirements

• Licensed as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or LMHC for 5+ years.
• Completed NCMHCE or both NCE & NCMHCE.
• 120 hours of clinical supervision completed.
• 5-8 years of therapy experience in healthcare.
• Experience with perinatal mental health care.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and EHRs.
• Understanding of birth inequity and structural racism.
• Experience with Medicaid clients.
• Willingness to cross-license in other states.
