Full-Stack Developer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer to take charge of the day-to-day development of Everskies, working directly under the guidance of the CEO of Pocket Worlds. This role offers a unique opportunity to be the lead and sole developer on this project, crafting engaging user experiences and robust backend solutions and running a live product with 200k+ DAU.

In Short

• Take full ownership of the development and maintenance of Everskies.
• Collaborate closely with both the CEO of Pocket Worlds and the original creator of Everskies.
• Develop and optimize front-end features using Angular.
• Design and implement backend services using PHP and Go.
• Manage databases using MySQL and MongoDB.
• Integrate and maintain messaging services using RabbitMQ.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
• Monitor, identify, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Keep abreast of new technology developments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer.
• Expertise in PHP, Angular or React, Node.js, MySQL, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience working with Go is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
