In Short

• Collaborate with technical leaders and business stakeholders to architect and implement system components.
• Learn the Data Landscape of Plus Power, including SCADA Site Sensor Data and Operational Performance Data.
• Build a high-quality, expressive Data Model that maps institutional knowledge onto raw data.
• Drive architectural design and decision making, partnering with client leadership.
• Hands-on build of critical components and establish reusable solutions.
• Implement best practices in data governance and platform usage tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 8 years of experience in SQL and Python programming.
• Experience in data engineering tools such as Pandas, Polars, and PyArrow.
• Proven experience designing scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
• Hands-on experience with relational database systems, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience in an agile environment with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
