Group Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Group Finance Manager to join our Group Finance Team here at Domestic & General, where you will have exposure and ownership over a variety of core accounting, FP&A and Investor Relations tasks.

In Short

• Manage and complete monthly Group reporting.
• Own monthly Group results analysis and document variances.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Produce the Group Annual Report & Accounts.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Build relationships with finance teams and stakeholders.
• Assist with ad hoc finance projects.
• Lead critical Finance Projects for improving reporting processes.
• Engage with external investors and auditors.
• Demonstrate good attention to detail and logical decision making.

Requirements

• Experience in Insurance accounting under IFRS 17.
• Fully qualified ACA accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Clear communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Self-starter with good judgment.
• Engaging and capable of delivering clear objectives.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Able to make sound accounting decisions.
