Overview

As a Senior Flight Software Engineer at Planet, you will drive the definition, development, maintenance, and optimization of critical software for our satellite fleet, ensuring reliable and innovative solutions for space operations.

In Short

• Architect and implement robust software solutions for embedded systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, EE, or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 6 to 8 years of experience in C/C++ development for Linux and RTOS.
• Familiarity with Python for data analysis and testing.
• Expertise in embedded systems software development.
• Excellent communication skills for technical concepts.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools.
• Familiarity with network protocols and chip-to-chip protocols.
• Experience with agile development and Git.
