Planet is a global company that designs, builds, and operates the largest constellation of imaging satellites, delivering data to various sectors. We are looking for a highly motivated working student to join our operations team.

In Short

• Support day-to-day operations of satellite constellations.
• Make assessments based on data analysis.
• Triage and resolve anomalies.
• Run on-orbit experiments.
• Test and roll out software on the ground and in space.
• Write code to automate mission operations.
• Aggregate data into metrics.
• Collaborate with hardware and software experts.
• Work in a hybrid role with one day in the Berlin office.
• Contribute to the success of Planet’s operations.

Requirements

• (Ongoing) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Software, or Science.
• Software development experience in Python or equivalent.
• Passion for space technology.
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills.
• Data-driven mindset with statistical analysis comfort.
• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
