In Short

  • This internship focuses on developing satellite-based analysis products for agriculture.
  • Work involves using Planet’s imagery and data to support agricultural management practices.

  • Explore innovative irrigation scheduling techniques with customers.

  • Engage with the scientific community to advance remote sensing science.

Requirements

  • Experience with scientific computing using Python in a Unix/Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of remote sensing fundamentals and experience with remote sensing data.
  • Ability to be hands-on, self-motivated, and think creatively.
  • Experience with thermal, microwave, or optical remote sensing datasets is a plus.
  • Expertise with QGIS, Esri software, GDAL, or other geospatial software is advantageous.
