Remote Fire Protection Engineer

Overview

The Fire Protection Engineer will provide design plans and supervise all the activities of all aspects of fire protection engineering works.

In Short

• Work under the direction of Managers on tasks related to Fire Protection Engineering.
• Recommend changes to procedures and design documents.
• Perform standard fire protection design tasks such as sprinkler design and criteria specification.
• Review A/E drawings for conformance with model and local codes.
• Research models and local codes to assist in code compliance.
• Develop reports and memos with the assistance of other engineers.
• Perform hazardous materials assessments.
• Expand and improve technical and business skills.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• Degree in any related course.
• Licensed Fire Protection Engineer / Certified Fire Protection Inspector preferred.
• Minimum five years of related engineering experience.
• Ability to deliver complete design packages.
• Working knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to Fire Protection.
• Proficiency in communication skills.
• Computer literate with documentation and reports.
• Ability to work and communicate virtually.
• Strong work ethic and desire to excel.
