Overview

As a Game Designer at Pixaera, you will be part of a passionate team dedicated to leveraging Ai and gamification to improve the safety readiness of frontline workers in high-risk industries.

In Short

• Partner with the team to conceive, prototype, and ship gameplay and learning interactions.
• Evaluate systems and mechanics to improve clarity, engagement, and outcomes.
• Tackle design problems through creative exploration and rapid iteration.
• Join playtests and review sessions to refine designs.
• Communicate openly with engineers, artists, and product partners.
• Collaborate with Design Leadership and Subject Matter Experts using Unreal Engine 5.
• Use Sequencer to build greyboxes for asset implementation.
• Partner with designers, programmers, and artists to improve workflows.
• Work with AI-powered localisation tools for interactive experiences.
• Polish and optimise levels for PC, VR, and web-based experiences.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in Unreal Engine 5.
• Proven experience in game design and/or level design.
• Solid grasp of core principles of interactive design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with production and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Organized and reliable with the ability to deliver tasks independently.
