Cloud Architect - Remote

Overview

PingWind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Architect, you will take a leadership role in overseeing a team responsible for planning, configuring, migrating, and enhancing the MEDCHART system within the Government-selected Cloud hosting facility.

In Short

• Develop and execute comprehensive cloud strategies for the MEDCHART system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.
• Design and architect cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications.
• Evaluate and select appropriate cloud services and technologies.
• Develop and execute migration plans for the MEDCHART system.
• Implement robust security measures and compliance controls.
• Collaborate with software developers for cloud optimization.
• Develop cost models and optimize cloud resource usage.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Expertise in cloud architecture design, including networking, security, and scalability.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.
• Security+ certification preferred.
• HIPPA certification preferred.
