Pimp My Carroça is a movement established in 2012 aimed at bringing visibility to recyclable material collectors and increasing their income through art, awareness, technology, and collective participation. The organization's mission is to create and develop creative and collaborative actions that positively impact the recognition and fair remuneration of these collectors within civil society, public authorities, and the private sector in Brazil and worldwide. In 2017, Pimp My Carroça launched Cataki, an app that connects waste generators directly with recyclable material collectors. The movement emphasizes diversity and inclusion in its selection processes and is guided by values such as ethics, respect, experimentation, and sustainability.
