Overview

The Product Manager is responsible for supporting performance and strategy across assigned product lines, focusing on product management, underwriting improvements, regulatory compliance, and distribution with a data-driven approach to measure efficiency and profitability.

• Collaborate with the Pricing & Analytics team to establish competitive market rates.
• Optimize underwriting automation and increase efficiency throughout the submission and policy lifecycle.

• Ensure compliance with state-specific requirements for insurance products.
• Design and improve tools that support field underwriting activities.
• Advance and refine Pie’s systems for internal and external users.
• Manage implementation of approved rate, rule, and form changes.
• Build partnerships across departments to drive success.
• Contribute to delivering innovative and profitable insurance solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• CPCU or CIC Certification preferred.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in underwriting or 3 years in commercial lines product management.
• Knowledgeable in commercial insurance product development.
• Advanced data management skills, particularly in Excel.
• Strong analytical abilities and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills for collaboration.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance regulatory compliance.
• Understanding of various distribution channels.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
