Managed Care Liaison - Remote

Overview

The primary responsibility of the Managed Care Liaison (MCL) is to engage healthcare and access stakeholders in clinical, scientific, and health economic exchange for PharmaEssentia’s therapeutic area(s). This position will bring critical stakeholder insights to support health economic and outcome research projects and publications focusing on value, positioning, and unmet needs to support best possible market access. This is a highly collaborative role, providing medical and scientific support to across Medical Affairs and Market Access activities.

• Develop and foster scientific relationships with healthcare decision makers.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of managed care accounts.
• Lead execution of medical strategy for national and community accounts.
• Monitor competitor activities and bring insights to Medical Affairs leadership.
• Generate insights to inform Health Economics Outcomes Research strategy.
• Support health economics outcomes research projects.
• Serve as the Medical congress leader at key national payor congresses.
• Provide medical expertise to support Market Access activities.
• Maintain high scientific and technical expertise in hematology and oncology.

Requirements

• Advanced Degree Required (PhD, PharmD, or MD).
• 4+ years of relevant field-based or Pharmacoeconomics experience.
• Experience in hematology and oncology managed care landscape.
• Understanding of national and community managed care oncology accounts.
• Ability to develop relationships with key thought leaders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong networking skills.
• Experience in managing multiple tasks and complex projects.
• Ability to articulate complex scientific information.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
