Software Engineer [Product] - Remote

Overview

This is a senior Product Engineering role within a tight-knit, mission-driven team. You will own end-to-end features that translate our AI engine into delightful user experiences.

In Short

• Shape the data layer - define schemas, indexes, and migrations in Postgres (with Prisma).
• Build dependable services - write Node/TypeScript APIs.
• Connect the front end - integrate APIs into React screens.
• Bring AI features to users with plain-language explanations.
• Ensure security and compliance - meet HIPAA and SOC2 requirements.
• Mentor teammates and guide technical direction.
• 3+ years building production web apps.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills and hands-on with Prisma.
• Comfortable designing RESTful APIs.
• Product mindset with a focus on performance and usability.

Requirements

• 3+ years building production web apps with Node.js + TypeScript backend and React front end.
• Strong PostgreSQL skills-schema design, indexing, query tuning.
• Comfortable designing RESTful APIs and writing tests.
• Product mindset: you own performance, usability, and accessibility.
• Bonus points for serverless or edge deployments.
• Experience with design systems and modern a11y standards.
• Observability tooling experience.
• Background in healthcare or fintech.
