• Manage the day-to-day activities of one or more software development teams.
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to build the roadmap.
• Ensure development deliverables are documented.
• Help with hiring initiatives across the engineering department.
• Identify process problems and enhance design and development processes.
• Establish success metrics and monitor team performance.
• Stay current with trends and technology impacting the job.
• Motivate the team to achieve more than expected.
• Passionate about clean code architecture and software craftsmanship.
• Experience with Elixir and GraphQL is a plus.

Requirements

• 3-5 years in a leadership or management role.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• Experience leading teams of 10 engineers or more.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information.
• Demonstrated collaborative work style.
• High level of critical and logical thinking.
• Ability to manage overlapping projects under strict deadlines.
• Drive for finding simple solutions to complex problems.
• Nice to have: experience with Kubernetes and public speaking.
