Junior Operations Manager - Remote

Overview

Pedlar is one of the fastest-growing startups in Germany. With our innovative single-creditor model, we are revolutionizing the procurement of indirect needs and are already working with some of the biggest players in the German industry. As a Junior Manager in operations, you will lead a team of 4 colleagues. Your task is to achieve our operational goals together with your team, manage processes smoothly, and bring out the best in each individual. This requires not only organization but also a genuine understanding of different characters and the ability to foster motivation and collaboration.

In Short

• Lead and develop a team of 4 employees
• Individually address team members, promote strengths, and support challenges
• Achieve goals together in daily operations
• Manage and coordinate operational processes (e.g., order processing, process management)
• Maintain and manage master data and document processes
• Collaborate with sales, accounting, and management to successfully implement customer projects
• Analyze existing processes and develop optimization measures
• Create reports and key figures for management

Requirements

• Completed studies in business, management, logistics, or a comparable qualification
• Initial experience in leading or coordinating small teams – e.g., from internships, working student positions, or entry-level jobs
• Empathy, strong communication skills, and enjoyment in working with diverse characters
• Structured, solution-oriented, and motivating work style
• Enjoyment of organization and process improvements
• Proficient in common tools (Excel, CRM, ERP, or comparable)
