Product Data Management Specialist - Remote

Overview

Peak Design is looking for a full-time hire to help roll out, maintain, and improve product data management tools, focusing on PLM to enhance efficiency in managing new product introductions and sustaining engineering.

In Short

• Manage imports of product data into PLM tool.
• Ensure approval processes are upheld during data import.
• Collaborate with CAD engineers to align metadata with PLM.
• Generate data reports for the team.
• Maintain a PLM wiki with best practices.
• Oversee internal product dashboard and material development tools.
• Manage vendor portals and onboarding.
• Assist in quarterly close process reporting.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn.
• Excellent English proficiency required.

Requirements

• Experience with spreadsheets and databases.
• Detail-oriented and eager to become an expert in PLM tools.
• Fluency in English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes.
• Direct experience with PLM tools preferred.
• Experience with PDM and ECR/ECO processes.
• 3D design experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of statistical control standards.
