Overview

The Mainframe DevOps Engineer will lead and execute SCM migration projects, focusing on modernizing large-scale applications on IBM Z.

• Lead SCM migration from CA Endevor to DBB/Git/IDD.
• Install and optimize DBB/Git/IDD environments on z/OS.
• Build mainframe CI/CD pipelines using Groovy, YAML, and Git.
• Deliver training and create documentation for clients.
• Collaborate with IBM and client teams for successful transformations.
• Strong background in mainframe development or systems programming.
• Proven experience in installation and troubleshooting on IBM Z.
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to resolve DBB/Git/IDD conversion issues.
• Work independently or in globally distributed teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of mainframe systems programming or development experience.
• 4+ years in customer-facing consulting roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with SCM modernization and lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical abilities.
