Overview

Paxa is the first German provider of Fractional General Counsel services, founded by two former GCs of German tech companies. Our mission is to rethink law, working closely with companies as integrated Legal Counsel.

In Short

• Act as the legal motor for our clients, providing support as if you were part of their internal team.
• Build trust, manage negotiations, contracts, data protection, and compliance.
• Develop internal legal workflows, standard contracts, and knowledge databases.
• Contribute ideas for improving work processes, tools, and interfaces.
• Engage in the design of our service architecture for managing and scaling mandates.
• Work proactively to identify strategic opportunities in legal matters.
• Focus on contract law and corporate governance, especially in SaaS and M&A.
• Experience in IP law, data protection, and compliance is a plus.
• Emphasize self-initiative, communication skills, and independent working.
• Fluency in German and English required.

Requirements

• First legal state exam or comparable qualification with excellent grades.
• 3-6 years of professional experience, ideally in an in-house legal department.
• Experience in contract law, data protection, and compliance.
• Interest in process optimization and automation tools.
• Strong communication and initiative.
• Fluent in German (C2) and English.
