Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Pattern is seeking a Senior Accountant to assist in closing the books, solving problems, and improving processes to align accounting with future objectives.

In Short

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting with appropriate GAAP treatment
• Provide solutions to streamline/speed up month-end close
• Assist with annual independent financial and statutory audits
• Provide timely and accurate analysis of historical financials
• Provide reporting and solutions for ad-hoc information requests
• Ensure effective internal controls for compliance with GAAP
• Support the Corporate Controller and accounting team
• Provide high-level internal and external customer service
• Respond to inquiries regarding accounting activities
• Utilize judgment to address or escalate issues

Requirements

• BS in Accounting required
• MAcc preferred
• CPA preferred
• 1-2 years of experience (SaaS industry preferred)
• Organized and analytical with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-directed and willing to take ownership
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
