Cloud Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in the optimization, automation, and support of our AWS cloud environments.

In Short

• Creates a well-informed cloud strategy and manages the adaption process.
• Designs, plans, manages, maintains, and supports the organization’s cloud computing environment.
• Monitors the consumption of cloud resources and evaluates cloud applications.
• Designs technical solutions on AWS public cloud environments.
• Works cross-functionally with multiple teams to analyze cloud service provider SLAs.
• Part of a team that rotates on-call duties for production-critical events in AWS.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
• Typically 5+ years with bachelor’s or equivalent.
• AWS Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working with AWS.
• In-depth knowledge of key AWS services.
• Strong understanding of AWS security best practices.
• Experience with AWS network infrastructure.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Knowledge of AWS services for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using tools like AWS CloudFormation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
