As a DevOps Engineer at Particle41, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our software development and IT operations processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both software development and IT operations, with a focus on automating and streamlining processes to achieve efficient and reliable software delivery for our customers. You will work closely with the development and operations teams of our customers to build, deploy, and maintain critical systems, ensuring the reliability and scalability of the customers' infrastructure.

In Short

Work closely with software developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
Collaborate on the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.
Design, implement, and manage automation processes for software build, deployment, and configuration.
Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (AWS) for scalability and reliability.
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Pulumi.
Develop and implement monitoring solutions for system health and performance.
Implement and maintain security best practices in infrastructure and application deployment.
Provide support for development and operations teams, addressing build failures and deployment problems.
Participate in on-call rotation to resolve critical incidents.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
Experience with Typescript is a must.
Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Hands-on experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Certified in at least one of the following: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, AWS SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator, GCP Cloud Engineer, etc.
