Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Remote

This is an urgent need for a remote, licensed, Michigan SLP! Are you passionate about helping children and families thrive? At Parallel, we’re seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a strong background in school settings to join our mission of empowering students with learning differences.

In Short

• Conduct comprehensive SLP evaluations and deliver direct services to children in school settings.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Continuously monitor student progress, adapting strategies to meet evolving needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, school staff, and students about progress and strategies.
• Complete essential documentation, including IEP reports, goals, and diagnostic evaluations.
• Work with teachers, paraprofessionals, and specialists to discuss student needs and provide guidance.
• Actively participate in team meetings, fostering a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) and licensure to practice in Michigan.
• Prior experience working in a school setting and familiarity with Michigan-specific school-based SLP practices.
• Proven ability to contribute to a team-focused approach.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse backgrounds.
• A strong understanding of the scope and impact of school-based speech-language services.
• Experience participating in IEP meetings and designing interventions.
• Comfort with technology and proficiency in using telehealth platforms.
• Availability during standard school hours (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
