Staff Accountant - Remote

Overview

Parachute Health is on a mission to ensure that every patient receives the medical equipment they need in a timely manner, improving efficiency through digital connectivity in the ordering process.

In Short

• Assist with the monthly financial close process.
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Conduct account balance reconciliations.
• Manage cash, credit card spend, and AP/AR.
• Assist with payroll and general administration.
• Analyze financial data collaboratively.
• Compile information for tax returns and audits.
• Organize contracts and track compliance.
• Improve expense approval processes.
• Support special projects analyzing financials.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• 2-4 years of experience in internal accounting or finance.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of GAAP Accounting Standards.
