Senior Python Engineer - Remote

Overview

PandaDoc is seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join our Technology Hub. This role is based on the ReDefine Team, which is focused on enabling product teams to streamline development and delivery processes.

In Short

• Build software, frameworks, and tools for reliable operations of PandaDoc services.
• Design and improve communication using gRPC, Temporal.io, and Kafka.
• Work closely with Kubernetes on AWS EKS.
• Improve deployment and monitoring across clusters.
• Collaborate with engineers to foster solid engineering principles.
• Be a change agent by recommending best practices.
• Share knowledge through documentation and workshops.
• Hands-on experience with service-oriented architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD tools.
• Good to have experience with Grafana and OpenTelemetry.

Requirements

• 5+ years of development experience with Python.
• Strong understanding of AsyncIO.
• Experience with Django framework.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Experience with message queues like RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD.
• Good to have open-source contributions.
• Intermediate English proficiency.
