Part Time Video Editor for Real Estate Company - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about short-form video content, and has a good ear for sound, style, and pacing.

In Short

• Edit 5–10 short-form videos per week (20 seconds to 1 minute each, simple edits, typically talking head-style)
• Add captions/subtitles with correct grammar and spelling
• Enhance audio and apply basic sound effects
• Create and edit simple graphics and charts for Instagram
• Design basic thumbnails and visual assets for video posts
• Follow and implement transcripts provided with each video, ensuring accurate spelling and subtitle timing
• Must be available to work with at least 2 hours of overlap during California working hours.

Requirements

• Experience in video editing and familiarity with editing software
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of social media trends and video formats
