Part Time Video Editor for Podcast Channel - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about short-form video content, podcast editing, and has a good ear for sound, style, and pacing.

In Short

• Edit 5–10 short-form videos per week (20 seconds to 1 minute each, simple edits, typically talking head-style).
• Add captions/subtitles with correct grammar and spelling.
• Enhance audio and apply basic sound effects.
• Create and edit simple graphics and charts for Instagram.
• Design basic thumbnails and visual assets for video posts.
• Follow and implement transcripts provided with each video, ensuring accurate spelling and subtitle timing.
• Must be available to work with at least 2 hours of overlap during California working hours.

Requirements

• Experience in video editing, particularly for short-form content.
• Proficiency in video editing software.
• Good understanding of audio editing and enhancement.
• Ability to create simple graphics and visual assets.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
