Virtual Field Appraiser - Remote

Overview

As a Virtual Property Appraiser, you will be responsible for meeting virtually with the policyholder to investigate, assess and facilitate remediation and repair decisions on residential property damage claims.

In Short

• Provide superior customer service to policyholders while working autonomously.
• Communicate daily with customers to schedule virtual inspections.
• Assess damages and complete estimates using computer-based estimating software.
• Negotiate the settlement of assigned claims.
• Document activity and secure claim information within the claims system.
• Ensure compliance with state insurance regulations.
• Work independently with minimal management oversight.
• Periodic travel within California may be required.
• Must possess excellent time-management skills.
• Experience with Xactimate is required.

Requirements

• College degree or prior applicable work experience required.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Current Texas, Florida, or Connecticut adjuster license is a plus.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to make timely and accurate decisions.
