Project Manager Level 3 - Remote

Overview

Our client, the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC), is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support its Technology Services group. This role focuses on managing complex IT initiatives with a strong emphasis on IT Service Management (ITSM), ServiceNow, cloud migrations, and SaaS implementations, while ensuring organizational readiness, stakeholder alignment, and effective change management.

In Short

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure.
• Define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and resource requirements.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and visual artifacts.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Facilitate regular project status meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and foster a collaborative environment.
• Support organizational readiness and change management activities.
• Assist with process engineering and business architecture efforts.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and capture lessons learned.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification (required).
• Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably in a government or public-sector environment.
• Delivery experience with IT Service Management (ITSM), ServiceNow, cloud migrations, or SaaS implementations.
• Must hold, or be eligible to obtain, a Reliability Status security clearance.
