Senior Software Engineer I, Design Systems & Accessibility - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on the Design Systems & Accessibility (DSA) team, you will build the foundation that powers every feature at AuditBoard, contributing to the internal design system and accessibility program.

In Short

• Expand and maintain the Luna design system for reusable component architecture.
• Write clear platform documentation for self-service support.
• Consult on Luna adoption and accessibility best practices.
• Drive the department-wide A11Y program with high-impact remediations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and PMs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software bugs.
• Leverage AI tools for higher-quality outcomes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications.
• Proven track record in enterprise-scale platform experience.
• Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.2 standards for A11Y.
• Deep experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (Ember preferred).
• CSS mastery for solving complex UI challenges.
• Proficiency with TypeScript & Node.js.
• Experience with software testing (Unit, Integration, E2E).
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g., Copilot).
