iOS Engineer - Remote

Overview

onX is seeking an iOS Engineer with a passion for trout fishing and technology. Your focus will be on the complete user journey throughout the TroutRoutes app including onboarding, purchasing, and map interaction.

In Short

• Develop new user-facing features in the TroutRoutes iOS app using UIKit and SwiftUI
• Maintain 3rd party library integrations
• Write quality code, tests and review pull requests
• Participate in architecture and code standard discussions
• Create ideas and solutions for quarterly missions
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Learn to optimize for speed vs. quality
• Lead by example and embody company values

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Curiosity around user behavior and data analysis
• Excitement for maintaining mission critical software
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Permanent US work authorization
• Ability to travel bi-annually
