Overview

We are hiring a content editor to review and refine long-form content in British English for a B2B SaaS client. This is a freelance position where you’ll work with our editorial team to ensure content is well-structured, engaging, and optimized for both readability and SEO while maintaining brand voice and tone.

• Edit and refine long-form content in fluent British English.
• Review content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Improve sentence structure, flow, and readability.
• Ensure consistency with brand voice and tone.
• Implement SEO best practices in edited content.
• Provide constructive feedback to writers.
• Verify sources, citations, and factual accuracy.
• Work closely with writers and the editorial team.
• Communicate proactively with the Editorial Lead.

Requirements

• Fluent, native-level proficiency in British English.
• 2–3 years of experience editing content for marketing, SEO, or B2B brands.
• Skilled at simplifying complex topics into clear content.
• Familiar with SEO fundamentals.
• Able to edit for different audience types.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable.
• Open to feedback and enjoy collaboration.
• Passionate about ensuring content is polished.
• A degree in journalism, marketing, or related field is preferred.
