Lead Information Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

As the first full-time security and IT hire at Omni, you will partner with the CTO to maintain the security of internal and customer-facing systems while supporting rapid growth.

In Short

• Build and implement security policies ensuring compliance with standards like GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Maintain security documentation and build trust with customers regarding security posture.
• Lead incident response efforts and monitor security systems for incidents.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations and security for the SaaS stack.
• Provide first-line IT support for a Mac fleet.
• Drive vendor governance and evaluate new software for security compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security engineering and/or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Office365, and identity platforms.
• Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks like NIST and ISO 27001.
• Strong understanding of security principles for cloud and SaaS infrastructures.
• A builder mindset with a passion for automation and data.
