Security Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Security Engineer. You’ll be directly responsible for safeguarding Ometria’s digital assets by actively managing risks to maintain a secure and resilient environment. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to ensure that security and privacy best practices are followed whilst finding solutions to meet our business goals.

In Short

• Work with security, legal, and people teams for ISO audits.
• Identify opportunities to educate on security and privacy best practices.
• Integrate privacy and security measures into all projects.
• Respond to alerts and security risk events.
• Build and maintain expertise in security and privacy.
• Advise on project risk reduction through security practices.
• Participate in ISO audits and work with external security researchers.
• Work independently on assigned tasks and projects.
• Utilize data to make informed decisions regarding security risks.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present updates.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud environment.
• Experience with Terraform is a plus.
• Proactive in learning about security and privacy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical skills for data analysis.
• Business-focused approach to risk management.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders.
