Senior Accountant of Corporate Accounting - Remote

This pivotal role focuses on ensuring strong internal controls, regulatory compliance, and efficient accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep accounting background, attention to detail, and a keen eye for identifying and driving process improvements.

In Short

• Leadership & Management: Takes responsibility for quality of work product, including both success and failures.
• Operations Excellence: Drive best in class processes such as the financial statement close, inventory, fixed assets, compensation accounting, debt and compliance, accruals and leases.
• Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and mitigating financial risks.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial practices comply with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy within the corporate accounting function and the border organization.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments such as FP&A, Treasury, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
• Audit Coordination: Maintain relationships with external auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in corporate accounting.
• CPA or equivalent certification or are a candidate.
• Strong communication skills with experience presenting financial information to executive leadership.
• Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm or a publicly traded company.
• Proven track record of managing and implementing process improvements.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analytics.
